Sophmore Steven Sablich drew the start going 2 innings (3 K’s – 0 BB’s – 2 Runs – 2 Hits – HR, single). Freshman Michael Mayuski entered in the 3rd inning (3 K’s – 3 BB’s – 2 Runs – 3 Hits – 2 Singles, 1 Double -1 HBP) before handing over to Sophmore Matt Semple in the 7th (1 K’s – 5 BB’s – 10 Runs – 1 Hits – 1 Single – 1 HBP).

In the bottom of the 5th inning John Albert got on by an error by the shortstop. Matt Meeder drew a walk and and Ryan Gant (1 rbi) bunted and no one coverd at first base. Hornets 1 – Eagles 3.
Milton came right back in the sixth inning and scored another run. Roswell’s Drew Davis got on by an error on the shortstop. Dalton Durocher followed with a base hit to the right side. Alex Hammen executed a sac bunt to move the runners to second and third. . John Albert (2 rbis) gets a base hit to right field and scores two runs. Matt Meeder (1 rbi) follows with a single to right field to tie the game but is left stranded. Hornets 4 – Eagles 4.
The Hornets defense comes unglued as Milton scores 10 runs in the top of the seventh . FINAL: Hornets - 4 – Eagles – 14.
